RBC helps Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation boost cardiac care services at hospital.

RBC’s contribution of $15,000 to the Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) Foundation has helped boost cardiac care services at the Fraser Health region’s heart centre. The donation helped fund state-of-the-art cardiac equipment and a new, larger Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit at RCH. Adrienne Bakker, Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) Foundation president and CEO, proudly presents a certificate of recognition to Brad Alden, publisher of the The Record and the Burnaby Now, for the newspapers’ generous sponsorship of the RCH Foundation’s 30th Anniversary Gala. The Gala raised $250,000 for the $2-million Heart to Heart campaign to help fund critical cardiac care services at RCH.

Variety donates $10,000 to help families in need at RCH

ICU Grand Opening at RCH a big success - thanks to donors

Health Minister George Abbott officially opened the new state-of-the-art ICU on June 5, 2007. The government committed $6.5 million to the facility and RCH Foundation raised $1.6 million from community donations for the new 9,200 square foot facility which features 16 private rooms, 3 private family rooms and custom-made ceiling mounted equipment booms.
